The role of the diet for results and personal health has very low priority in the African sport, even at senior and elite level.
We will have a program against our primary target group, i.e to teach the youngsters from the start the importance of eating the right food at the right time. We will also involve the parents in this job. Since we focus on the poorest areas first, one cannot set such high demands on the families, but the responsibility will also lie on the clubs.
We will also have a training program for senior and elite sports where we will educate according to the latest findings in sports nutrition in the world.

Responsible – Yeo Pagahouagnan
My name is YEO PAGAHOUAGNAN, 33 years from Yopougon, Abidjan in Ivory Coast.
I have always loved sports and in my childhood I practiced several disciplines such as basketball , acrobatics, karate and football. I have not had a chance to make a career in any sport for several different reasons. Instead, my passion led me to become a leader and in 2008 I became Secretary General of a football academy. Yopougon
From 2008 to 2019, I held several administrative and technical positions, 7 years in Ivory Coast and 4 years in Ghana where I learned to speak fluent English.
I am very much looking forward to working with ESPRIT DE SPORT which will contribute to the development of the sport. I will work with an overall responsibility for the activities in Côte d’Ivoire as Secretary General and that I will stick to the programs for training of leaders as well as health and diet.
I appreciate the trust I have gained and I will give the best of myself so that together with our European colleagues, we can improve hundreds of thousands of children’s lives in Africa.
